Hi, my name is Louise, but everyone calls me Lou!

I am an illustrator and digital artist from England who has a passion for creating vibrant and textured artwork and bringing joy and child-like wonder to my creations. I have often had my work described as “whimsical” and that people think I should illustrate a children’s book, which is also one day an ambition of mine!

I love creating work on my iPad, but I also want to create a traditional portfolio of work in the future, and to experiment with more traditional mediums, such as gouache, inks, pens, and coloured pencils! I also enjoy showing my creative process and behind the scenes on my socials! It is a joy to be able to share my creative journey with my audience and I am beyond grateful to be able to share my art with you!

It has been a dream since I was a child to be able to draw and make a living through my art. I remember being a small child in my bedroom using the endless supple of notepads and loose paper doodling to my hearts content and wondering if I would be able to do this all the time and that I wished I had a red pencil! (It had rolled under my bed…)
